Your problem must be related to the fact that Apache usually doesn’t have access rights to the directory that should be serving your virtual site. Go back and check the entries in . If your virtual site’s DocumentRoot is missing, Apache cannot guarantee that you will reach it.

[Mon Feb 21 20:52:13 2011] [Error] [Client 66.249.71.150] Directory for indexing the no-no rule: from /var/www/vhosts/website.com/httpdocs/

I only have index.php in the root directory, since mine is actually index home.php, the website file root can be described as defined by .htaccess rules:

    Index directory index.php /index.phpRewriteCond %HTTP_HOST ^website.com$RewriteRule ^$ en/home [R=301,L]...Not

I have access to the virtual sets config files, I’m on a shared host, so only .htacces is best /httpdocs/, that’s all I have. What should I do? Should I just disable the DirectoryIndex (I don’t create it anyway and the site works fine!) How can I know if I have a directory index or not?

  • When testing in the browser, everything works fine, fast and clear!
  • But in the indicator I see the following:

  • apache error directory index forbidden by rule

    [Sun Feb 29 02:18:56 2011] [Error][Client 66.249.71.81] File not workingexist:/var/www/vhosts/website.org/httpdocs/index

Unlike the first error at the top of this page, this looks like a normal 404 error (my 404 error article is my home page, then the error pages show the home page)

If I type “website.org” the htaccess rule of thumb redirects to the default page website.org/en/home, if I type “websie.org/index” it redirects to site.org/en/home and everything seems to be fine with him, but I don’t know such things, both errors mean “Entering the directory is prohibited by the rule …”

Why Should I Develop A CAPTCHA?

Performing the CAPTCHA test proves you are human and gives everyone temporary access to the building’s website.

What Can I Do To Avoid This In The Future?

If you’re using a private connection, such as at home, run a virus scan on your device to make sure it’s not infected with malware.

If you findIf you are in the office or on the network, you can ask the network owner to run a network scan, I would say that the network is looking for misconfigured or infected products.

Another way to prevent future access to this website is to use the Privacy Pass. You may need to download version 2.0 right now from the Firefox Add-ons Store.

My IP Address In Error Logs

Whenever I make a change to my personal OSC part of the website, add a product, or make a change, do I get a “Directory Index Denied by Rule” error in the error log? What would it cause? The opposite of what I do suits me. So how does the defect of firewood manifest itself?

Log shows [Error] [Client, my new IP address] Forbidden directory index next to rule: /file location used here/, link: mywebsite.com/osc/ my changes were reported here.

Iwasn’t sure the log entry was correct. Gives a lot of information about the best site hierarchy below.

This could be some sort of “tool” you use to show you the “list-pointing directory” of the directory you are definitely working on. If you put “options in -indices” in your .htaccess file, and if the /osc directory is near or below that .htaccess file’s directory, index creation will be disabled. .

The .workaround .on the market .is to .place the ..htaccess .file .into the /osc directory which contains “Settings + Indexes” which are then placed in that subdirectory and its subdirectories can only be applied. .(If ..htaccess .catalog already exists in this .. subdirectory, then you will of course have to change it to increase this line).
